LittleRedBunny Academy Begins 2nd Annual Cam Industry Survey

NEW YORK — LittleRedBunny Academy has begun its second annual State of the Webcam Industry survey targeting all cam models and studio owners regardless of their preferred platforms.

The goal of the survey is to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the industry and to improve productivity, revenue and working conditions and to bring the camming community closer together.

The survey will run through April 15 and will examine the demographics, work habits and earnings of models; what they like and dislike about the industry; plus delve into the experiences, well-being and feedback of independent models, studio models and studio owners across the globe.

LittleRedBunny said that no personal identifying information will be required or tracked and that all participants will remain anonymous.

“Last year’s survey was pretty successful, and we got overwhelmingly positive responses and support from the vast majority of those who took the survey,” said founder LittleRedBunny. “There were more than 500 interactions from people in 41 different countries across the globe. But the biggest thing we are improving for this year, especially from the great feedback we got, is to reduce and simplify the number of questions and shorten the overall length of time to take the survey.”

LittleRedBunny said that this year’s model survey is estimated to take only 10-15 minutes, and the studio owner survey should only take 15 minutes at most, with both surveys having more optional sections to fill out. There are no required questions to answer, which should make navigation and completion of the survey much easier and more streamlined.

“As I stated last year for the first survey, there’s been a lack of knowledge and understanding about some areas of the webcam industry: where it is, where it’s going and how it’s viewed from the eyes of the people who are the foundation,” LittleRedBunny said. “With the results we got last year, and the results we will get this year, we will be able to correlate and extrapolate more data to get a better understanding of the trends and workings of the industry from the ones who do the most to make it run.”

The two separate surveys are tailored for webcam models and studio owners respectively, with the data collected implemented into the daily functioning of the industry by helping to end speculations on the inner workings of camming, eliminate myths, and hopefully accelerate the growth of the industry.

“With what we learned from last year, and what we will get from this year, we can more easily interpret the data and compile it to start making some useful positive adjustments and changes to the camming industry from the ground up,” said Chris “CK” Korhonen, business partner of LittleRedBunny and a public relations specialist. “As always, the goal is to improve the working conditions, earnings and well-being of the models.”

“Being able to know what works, what doesn’t work, and what can be improved with this data will go a long way to help a lot of people across the industry,” Korhonen added. “The more people we get to take it, the more impactful and helpful it will be.”

Over the next three months, a marketing campaign will be implemented to spread the word about the survey among studios and cam models to encourage as many different voices and participants as possible.

“Last year we got some great help to spread the word from forums like Amber Cutie and We Cam Girls,” LittleRedBunny noted. “I hope we can get more help and communication from even more sources this year, especially from the platforms and other model social networks.”

“And even though it’s 100 percent anonymous, it doesn’t hurt to have models tell other models to take it too!” she concluded. “I said it last year, but I still see contributing to this survey as not only an opportunity but a responsibility to help improve an industry that many people, including myself, really love being a part of.”
